PLANT SUMMARY: The Former South Dakota Oilseed Processors Plant was completed in December of 2008. The facility is capable of processing 375 tons of soybeans per day, using screw presses for mechanical oil separation. The plant has the capability of processing other oilseeds such as sunflowers (250 tons per day) and canola with very little retrofitting. Beans were supplied to the company from local growers with easy access to good highway and railroad transportation.

Sealed Bid offers must be received by the deadline and be accompanied by a first nonrefundable deposit of $50,000 along with a fully completed and notarized Bidder Kit. All bids are subject to Seller’s acceptance. At no time may Bidders revoke their Sealed Bid Offers; deposits will be returned to the non-winning bidder within 7 days. The Sealed Bid Auction process is binding and offers are non-revocable. Buyers should request and thoroughly review all documents prior to submitting a sealed bid offer. South Dakota law imposes sales tax on purchases of machinery, equipment or other personal property at auction sale. Successful bidders will be required to remit with their bid payment, in addition to their purchase price and any applicable buyer’s premium, sales tax in the amount of four percent (4%) of the successful bid.
